The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952
« on: February 19, 2011, 03:58:01 AM »
They pass a good law like this one and never enforce it, yet pass a gun law, and ram it down our throats!

Friend of Freedom:

As Americans we have a lot to worry about: OBAMACARE, debt ceiling, unemployment rates, political elections, and much more. The Illegal Immigration issue, one of the biggest problems facing a nation crying for jobs, has slipped to the "back seat" of what is driving the U.S. government. However, if you read this message from AmeriPAC, that could change quickly.

We've "uncovered" an EXISTING LAW that our own government has effectively NULLIFIED by simply choosing not to enforce it. Had the federal government done its job, we, as a nation, would not be facing such an illegal immigration disaster.

As a friend of freedom and the United States Constitution, you cannot escape the unbelievable situation that we now face. And the Executive Branch of the federal government---since 1952---is to blame. They simply chose NOT to enforce this law. Why? Most likely because major donors to major political candidates who use migrant labor to plant and harvest food crops did not want this law enforced.

The law? The Federal Immigration and Nationality Act of 1952. It's still on the books. It's STILL the law of the land! Yet, NO U.S. ATTORNEY GENERAL is enforcing this law today! No Immigration Control & Enforcement agents are arresting the illegal aliens they catch under this law; nor are they arresting the benefactors who offer illegal aliens sanctuary to avoid arrest and deportation. Not one. Nor did ICE or the Justice Department enforce that law yesterday, or last year, or at anytime in the last six decades. Yet, it's still a law. And it will end the illegal immigration problem if it is enforced. Why is everyone ignoring this law?
Freedom Of Speech.....Once we lose it, every other freedom will follow.

Selective law enforcement and feared voter alienation.   Both equal failing to secure our borders, which should be grounds for impeachment.

Get even. Exercise Jury Nullification. If they're not going to enforce their laws, Neither should we! I may get another chance next month. Gotta like living in a small county, get picked fairly often  ;)

The 1952 Act has been replaced a few times since then. We are now operating under the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1996, with a few updates since then.  IMMACT 96, as it's called, was largely the handiwork of the late swimming champion of Chappaquiddick, in his official capacity as Senator from Massachusetts.  Although to read the papers and listen to the liberal howls for "comprehensive immigration reform" everything they are talking about is already in IMMACT 96.  That is, everything except blanket amnesty for illegal aliens.  Already law is a section on employer sanctions, a big section on deportation (now called "removal"), a whole list of classifications to allow employers to petiton for workers lawfully, both on a permanent and temporary basis--it's all in there!  Already!  It's never been faithfully enforced, though.  On a daily basis, congressional aides, members of the bureaucracy, and the American Immigration Lawyers Association work hard to ignore much of it.  What used to be INS is now two separate agencies.  Both are "managed" by those who, like all gov't managers, are focused on growing their organizations in order to hire more people--this opens advancement to higher positions by those same managers.  That's how a lot of agencies in our gov't get real big, real fast.  With Immigration, it's out of control now, but no new laws are really needed--except by politicians trying to get votes by means of something they've let get out of hand. We sure as hell don't need blanked amnesty--it was already tried, and failed.  What we need is for Immigration, together with the Department of Labor, to get off their butts and do their jobs!
