Cheroot Canes
« on: February 19, 2011, 09:23:51 AM »
I've been building a lot of Cheroot canes lately.  I make them resemble historical barrels.  Photos below.

1841 6 pdr. in 44 caliber.

Naval Parrott in 36 caliber.

24 pdr. Naval cannon in 30 caliber.

18th century Naval cannon in 36 caliber.

Civil War Sawyer rifle in 36 caliber.

Group photo.  :)

Dom,

You need to add your website link to your profile so it shows up under your user name.  You should also add it to you signature line...that linkage is especially need when you introduce a new product like these so we can all jump right over the ands see them!

...and by the way,  you have been holding out on us, what is this?! I suddenly may acquire an interest in Handgonne's

Those are sharp, Dom. I saw a cast bronze example on the "Antiques Road Show" not that long ago, they're interesting collectibles.
RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

The one thing that you can almost always rely on research leading to, is more research.

Douglas,  The cane head only, in 36 caliber sells for 50 dollars for a simple machined like the Sawyer rifle, Parrott, Napoleon Ordinance Rifle etc, and 60 dollars for the Naval cannon.  For those who like myself, just can't be without a cannon for a minute, I am also making Civil War cannon barrel key chain ornaments.  They shoot BB's, price 15 dollars each.  Shipping on either item in the US is 6 dollars.
