There is both Hebrew and Catholic laws here in the USA that govern things like marrage and childred. If you belong to a church group you have to live by the rules of that church. For example, the civil court issue many marage annulments but the Pope does not. If the Pope does not issue it you are still married in the eyes of the church.

What is good for one church group should be good for all of them.

Sharia law is cruel and unusual.  That makes it unconstitutional. Will 5 Supreme Court justices be able to see that?  Maybe not the ones appointed by Obama.

Only problem is that you choose if you are to live by these laws of these various churches. They are not legally binding in any court. The pope  nor the catholic church is not a governing body in this country and the same should go for sharia law.

This guy can demonstrate or demand whatever he wants but there is no reason for him to get it. Concerning a constitutional amendment, where do you stop? You would have to have an amendment for every religion that has "laws" to follow. That would have to include Christian laws such as the ten commandments, etc.

Prohibiting Sharia law has nothing to do with the 1st amendment. They would still be free to practice their hateful religion but they would be barred from imposing it on others.

I read several posts here about Constitutional Amendments.

Today I heard that this Administration will not honor one of our Federal instituted laws.

Not long ago I heard something about this Administration wanting to do away with the Constitution. 

If that happens where does that put the Amendments?
