Yes. 1944 make. Load was a 147 gr steel core, eastern block from the 70's, FMJ. I believe it was the 2005 season? Anyway, it was a double lung hit. Didn't run very far. But it did fine. Mine is a 91/30 MG.

yes. I honestly can't remeber the load specifically. But it was a factory load. Also seem to remember it was a 147 grainer of some wako brand hunting load. It did the job just fine on a doe at about 125 or so yards. Not much of a test but it did the job.

Oh yes, Cabin4. I too have experimented since then with some off brand softpoints. I can't get any of them to hold any accuracy. But if I use my old Czech military stuff it is a tack driver. Go figure ???  My doe was about 30 yards and the bullet entered behind the shoulder and out the opposite leg. Exit hole was about dime size so the FMJ must have yawed a bit. But the deer hobbled on three legs maybe 30yds and fell over. Nothing dramatic.

Yep - about fifty yards, open sights, 200gr Softpoint. DRT.
I had the bayonet folded when I took the shot, as that is how I sighted it in (Mojo peep sights)

Know the regs on FMJ  before hunting with them several states I have hunted its not legal. My son and I have a M-N and hope to shoot a deer or 2 with it this fall we are still looking for a mold to cast our own with.
