 ok, now this is just a prototype so dont pick it apart. please.   just built the base tonight. I hope to test fire it this weekend.  and then there are a few other pics from the shop.

you cant telll from the pics but there are 3 different tapers, just like a 20 lb parrot,   I just ajusted teh tailstock over untill my dial indicator read me what i was looking for,..   I was starting to make a 10lb gun, but then i decided to change it to a seacoast,  my next version of this gun will be just right,,  well not as good as seacoast artillerys but, they are wow, amazing.  mine will be a what you call a 20/20 gun.  lol

I like its looks, Rick; what's the bore size, and what's the chunk of steel on the truck going to look like after you peel it?

RIP John. While on vacation July 4th 2013 in northern Wisconsin, he was ATVing with family and pulled ahead of everyone and took off at break-neck speed without a helmet. He lost control.....hit a tree....and the tree won.  He died instantly.

well the bore size is 75 cal. i just got in from the shop making a mold for a lead bolt shot.  as for the large round stock, that is my new peice of steel for my full scale mountain howitzer i am going to make. once i get some of these other projects out of the way.    I will be test shooting the parrot saturday.  I need to find what powder charge will bring the carriage 3/4 up the slide.   I hope to have some more pics of use shooting it this weekend.
