Buffalo Bore ammunition

Remove your dentures or wear a mouth guard!

A day or two and the swelling usually goes down if you use ice!

Just wondering. My wife had a sh4t fit when she fired one. Knocked out one of her front teeth. I shot a few and it was like a mild push from a .50 mg cartridge. Some people just can't handle recoil !!  I mean you have to share the recoil, the smoke, and the pain .  Can't help it if a Buffalo did not come around!!  BUT THEY DO GO THRU the boards, logs, metal and whatever!!!!!   Really they ARE not a bad loading, AND are made to do a job, KILL big , tough, thing's. I like big BOOMERS!!   michstew

I never bought Buffalo Bore ammo, but I duplicate it reloading.  I'm only a little kid, but the .45-70 and the .500 S&Ws recoil doesn't bother me.  I just know they're going to jump and come back.  I just have a problem with understanding how someone can shoot one of these in a handgun.  I sure couldn't.

I'm not recoil sensitive either, or at least I thought I wasn't until I aquired a 12 gauge Tracker ll slug barrel last year.

I set it up on a frame I had, and I think I shot a total of five slugs out of the barrel, decided fairly quickly that I'd had enough, and turned around and sold it and picked up a 20 guage Tracker ll.

Geez, I had to add 20oz of lead and a Slip On Limbsaver before I could put up with my 20g Tracker II...could shoot it all day, but decided I did not want to if I did not have to. No heavy recoil for this woos!

I discovered that if I took apart the 12ga./1oz./1600fps Foster slug loads and reduced the powder charge by 25% that my old 162 Buck and I have a much better relationship  , if I get set up to reload slugs I know I dont have to duplicate factory for a 50ish yd. gun.
