Well here it is. Ignore the semiauto's that clutter the pic. It is a model 28 Highway Patrolman in .357 mag I am guessing from the 60's and all original.

I ain't tellin' or showin' how many Smiths that I own  :-X .............but, here's My latest acquisition.

It's a previously unfired, model 57, sporting an 8-3/8" barrel, and I've already slicked up the action, and range tested the beast.

 Short barreled rifle, IMO.  8)

Top, 625-6, 45LC, elk stag.  Bottom "pair" Horton, 629-1, 44mag, elk stag.

Regards - redleg

I really like those Lou Hortons, I use to own one at one time but I let a good friend of mine talk me out of it about 15 years ago. Mine had a unfluted cylinder and I think it was a (-3). It was a great shooter and allot of fun.

The original .44 4" S&W nickle Dbl. Action. The gun is still shooting great after 130 years. That is Smith & Wesson quality. ;)

Here's my Governor.  It doesn't have the classic lines of the traditional Smiths.
