barrels interchangable?
« on: February 26, 2011, 10:57:42 AM »
Pulled the trigger and put a chunk down on a new TC Encore today.  It is a blued/walnut version with a 28" fluted 223 barrel.  When I got home, I noticed the reciept said it was a Pro Hunter.  My question is, are the two model's barrels interchangable?  Will I need a new forgrip for other barrels?  I thought the Pro Hunter only came with synthetic stocks.  I'm happy with the price, just confused about the barrels.  Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you in advance...

All Encore barrels will fit all Encore frames.  The stock will fit any frame also.  The forearm well, it depends if it's a shotgun barrel, muzzleloader barrel, taper barrel, or bull barrel.

Hope this helps

The forend for the "heavy" Encore rifle barrel and the "Pro Hunter" Encore barrel is the same.
