Odd color skeleton stock
« on: February 26, 2011, 09:51:38 PM »
Seen a 77 mkII in the 7.62x39 in a pawn shop with a brown skeleton. Is this a new stock or an older one? Iv never seen one and Iv seen a lot of rugers. Found a pic on the internet, but the one in the pawn shop was blued.

As new doesn't mean it couldn't be something other than factory.  My RENE isn;t handy so can't check there but it's not anything recent as that style stock was stopped years ago.  What did the serial number prefix date it to?
