Both my dad and I were concerned over the lack of deer and their respective sign this past season. We were questioning how the bad winter we had affected the herd. No one seems to be talking much. Some say there is no problem. Others have said that there is.
Well. There was an article in the Worcester Telegram and Gazette last friday that indicated the deer kill was down by almost 2000 deer. It was pretty enlightening. I wonder if the state will issue fewer doe permits next season. It seems that in some areas, you could buy extra.
We'll see what happens.
