There were none at a local gun show so I asked some dealers about them.   One said he had  some ordered for four months but still haven't received them.    Another said they got one in but had to send it back for jamming problems.  I'm still waiting for reviews too before I commit.

HillBill,

Check the youtube link below of a PMR-30 in action (killing a wild boar).  I got it from another site.

i read that review and it was a pretty good one. it also had close up pics of the sights, which look very servicable.however the lack of up and down adjustment scares me. is anybody offering different heigth front sites?

What are the average cost for the PMR-30 going to running about in the gun shops?

I have seen them advertised from the low threes to over five hundred!

I had a deposit on one since I herd of them. They cam in and I passed on it. Just too plastic. I don't know the more I read and watch the videos the more I treating they become. But once it was in my hand I just couldn't buy it.

I'm not opposed to plastic. It's the way of the future. I do own a glock and like it verymuch. But this thing is very toy like and seems like it wouldn't hold up well. I know Kel Tec has built a name around products such as this and done quite well. I don't know. My buddie keeps saying let's go buy a couple.... I may still end up with one who knows. God knows I have spent more on less.... ::)

So would you say it felt more like a toy? Are they as tough as  Glock or Sig polymers?

Cannot say for sure, time will prove this out.

Also, I don't mean to suggest its sub quality. It's typical Kel-Tec.

To my eye and hand it's a step behind either of the pistols you mentioned.
