30-30 Ackley

I just got finished turning my 30-30 barrel to Akcley Improved a few min ago. It wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be at all. Now just to get to the range and see how I did.

Yep got to the range yesterday and with 12 grains Unique and cast bullets ( fireforming loads) My son was picking 12 guage hulls off at 100 yards. Now to work up some jacteted loads for hunting

How much more will the Ackley do then an a 30/40 Krag, same barrel?
