Hillbill, it happens to me too often. I see, I like, I think "gee, always wanted one of those {whatever}. Then I buy, I keep, I fondle a few times, drawing it up to my shoulder. Sometimes I even buy dies and scope them. Then every now and then I actually get to the RANGE and shoot it!
Then it sits in the safe.
Lately I've been thinking even more that, I am impulse buyer. Ranges are farther away, not the 'few miles' they used to be, heck, even a truck hood was good enough especially since I started varmint hunting and purchased bipods [Harris Swivel type are the only ones to consider : ).
But now the ranges are an hour away or more, and traffic plays a huge part around Atlanta!
There is a range, a nice range with 300 yards at the rifle section. I've said I would join the club for a couple years now and havn't.
I need to.
Pitiful, huh!?
