What co. made the Hercules brand shotgun?

Just wondering, the one I got on trade today is the classic farm gun. Looks like a older H&R but I don't know. Thank's for any help.  michstew

In the store brand crossover catalog there is a Hercules Model 50 that was made by Stevens and was a clone to their Model 5100.

Might try a Google search and find more info.

An internet search will tell you the Hercules brand was sold by Monkey Wards, Iver Johnson likely made the single shot, but I'll leave that up to one of our H&R historians to answer, that's why I moved the thread here.  ;)

It's a Stevens clone I got a Monkey Wards Hercules 5100 16ga sxs. I love it .Kurt

Odds are it's an IVER JOHNSON - a picture or better description would clear up some of the mystery.  Crystal ball is down for repairs - LOL!
