what is the best setup for a possom?

I would say you are going to get some very INTERESTING answers for this question. :)  A possum is one of the easiest animals to catch. In fact I just made a set for one about an hour ago that was living under my neighbors house and tearing the insulation all to pieces. I just took a bucket, threw some tainted beaver meat in the back and placed a # 1 1/2 lonspring in front of it. A possum will get in any coon set or canine set. Trappers get aggravated with these little critters for messing up a good coyote or fox set.

If I was actually targeting a possum I would probably make a bucket set or any set will work. The best bait for a possum would be any thing that is STINKY. Rotted fish meat with a skunky canine lure will work good.

Dont EVER set for possum.



SET for FOX you will catch a POSSUM

SET for COYOTE you will catch a POSSUM

SET for coon you will catch a POSSUM


 Get the IDEA!!!!!!!

Your actually targeting them!?!?!?  LOL I tell you what if you want to catch possum find where you would like to set for coon then set a live trap with cat food, marshmellow paste, any kind of fish just about anything edible trust me you set it and they will come
