Burl Maple Contender

I made this set for myself from some decent Burl Maple. This is how it looks after only one hand rubbed oil. It will get 3 to 4 more rubbings.





It looked like this before putting on a gold dye and then hand rubbed oil.

  That is one heck of a nice job. Wish i had something like that on my old Winchester 22.

David, I see that you also have one of the ugly "smiling couger" frames. Let's see some of that pretty wood cover it up(like I showed you). Love your wood selection. Where do you get it(address)?   Pat
