As a folding or collapsable stock for a NEF rifle?

I am getting a NEF .500 S&W, and would like to make it more *backpacking* friendly.

Has anyone made a custom folder or collapsable stock themselves?

ATI makes an AR type stock, but collapsible stocks aren't a good idea for heavy kickers, specially with a scope mounted because it can collapse with heavy recoil.

Not what you would want on a heavy kicker for sure!

I would just put a youth stock on it and with a chopped barrel and taken down it would fit pretty nicely in a backpack.
