I tried twice to load your whackadoodle link you posted..but it was so infernally slow I gave up. Really, with a headline like that we don't need the story.
" shocking video shows US troops cheering airstrike blows Afghan civilians" C'mon, i may have been born on a Friday...but not LAST Friday.. ;
Troops call down fire on enemy positions, not on innocent civilians...I know..I was a soldier. Even if it were accidental by a projo falling shorty, US troops would not cheer over civilians getting killed. Obviously, there were enemy combatants firing upon our troops and our troops called for support...then, if the bad guys, who were trying to kill us are neutralized...I would cheer too !
No, it,s not our guys who are sawing heads off innocent reporters and whipping 14 yr old girls to death.
Correction; I finally got your link to load...looks like the link title had no connection to the content..
If these troops did wrong, their trial will prove or disprove it. As far as "Rolling Stone"....they may be stoned.. They are anti-American ,so I will wait for more credible reporting. ...And please don't assume our troops guilty, simply because SOMEBODY has ACCUSED them.
I can recall about 3-4 years ago, when some Marines were accused of war crimes in Haditha, Iraq. An overeager Rep John Murtha (D-PA) on the house floor called those Marines "cold blooded killers". They then went to trial and were exonerated...but we do not recall Murtha taking to the house floor, with a humble, abject apology. tells us much about Murtha !
If perchance the accusation proves true and you consider this incident as justifying Muslim sects, bombing each other to tomato paste, then how much more would we be justified to use WMD inthe Afghan hills, for the murders performed on Americans, by Islamites ?
