sold fur

1 rubbed coyote $8
7 gray fox $14.50 each
1 bobcat $48
2 rats $3.50 each
2 beavers $6 each

all just skinned not put up

Fishdaddy... glad you are getting to lay some steel.

I haven't trapped or sold furs for about 20 years, but those prices sound like the market is still really depressed.  My furs were put up and brushed to a T so not sure how much difference in pricing that makes.

If the experience of trapping and the time spent outdoors wasn't "priceless" it wouldn't be worth the effort.

I know I'm not in it for the money. Heck... I havent even sold pelts in years. I do it for the love of the outdoors and a few good wall hangers!

 While Trapping is my life--I also trap to pay some of my bills.Want to feel a bit of pressure, head to another state to trap--knowing you have to make enough to make the house payment and pay other bills.Changes your out look on things a bit.
 Heck you don't even have to go out of state to feel some pressure, lol

if i had to do it for a living i would starve to death..next year we get an otter season limit of one.im thinking about buying a non. res. ky license that will give me 6 more otter and 5 more bobcats

LOL...That running of a full time trap line is like work.I have another job to pay the bills..I like to set goals and see if I can do it.If I pay for the gas and supplies I'm happy.If I make a dollar or too-better yet.....
