Ya know ole buddy I really want to get some of his traps, BUUUUT we have an offset rule  and until I see on of his with off sets I'm gonna hold back, I think.  John doesn't like offset jaws and for some reason they opted to offset by welding lugs on regular jaws.  Consequently I really need to hold and test one.

The other thing that may cloud things is the BMPs.  The traps in that size range that did well were laminted in and out.  With the trigger arrangment the inside lamination will have to be split ...greatly increasing labor.

I only have 6 so not a fair trail. with that said they have held everything caught in them. with no foot damage. i see little difference between them an a old mont. dogless. the pans maybe seem to hold up better after a catch.
i had one that had a jaw bend and those jaw tips that are welded scare the ____ out of me. I don't care for them at all. It just seems that when they welded them it just shortened them and didn't seem to make them harder to pull out if the jaw bends. thats my only concern so far.
