caught another coon today tangled my snare around some brush and ruined it .anyway i have a question when u skin coons do u split the tails open ?

First off I would like to say Congratulations on the Coon. :agree:

I would also like to say that, at least in my case, all your snares will be ruined once you catch a animal in them. They will be so kinked up they won't set right anymore.

Also, yes, split your coon tails out. Do this on all animals with a tail to keep them from slipping.
