Lyman Deerstalker wedge pin

My sons Deerstalker,the wedge pin is so loose,he must watch it doesn't fall out! How do you fix this problem?

Most times, carefully bend it a little in the middle.

Remove the barrel from the stock and turn upside down. Take a wooden dowl and place it on top of the wedge pin holder and tap with a hammer lightly. Rassemble and see if it's tight enough. If not repeat.
