Hand Gonne Contest - 2011 - chopstick version
« on: March 11, 2011, 11:44:13 PM »
My first entry will be using a chopstick for a 'tiller'.  Design to follow.  OBVIOUSLY of small scale.

Here are the materials.

Chopstick is Japanese, is 6mm at the large end.  (Grooves were the inspiration)
Stainless is 12mm x 3-1/4"
Firecracker is wet, but ok for the pix.

(of note is that you can no longer see inside my hand and see tendons!  ;D   )

It's the addiction.  EVERYTHING you look at or touch gets considered as either the cannon or the projectile!   ;D

For example, I just bought a replacement 'plumber's friend' (plunger).  What am I going to use the still-good handle for?   Well, maybe NOT.

Here's the plan.  0.471 is 12mm.  Pattern suggested by chopstick and another that I made (will finish as part of this project) in 20ga.

I like it. I'm a big fan of using what I find ot make things. I'm always on the lookout for scraps that I can make some strange device out of. Keep up the good work.
