I just recieved a new grip set for my tender, got it from Dave D nice set up and a great fit!  Have a look..
The way it was, stock TC parts

  The parts I switched..

  The end result..

  Looks kinda good with the gold inlay I think..

How'd that G2 sneak into the first picture?  ;D  Anyway, very nice wood!!  Did the gold lettering come on the barrel already or did you do that?  I sure get tired of squinting to tell some of my barrels apart.

  He He.. that barrel, my newest was on that G2 frame, but I wanted it with the new wood so I had to move some stuff around 'cause the wood was for the old style contender....didn't want to change it all out at the beginning of my picture taking.
  I got that barrel allready like that but I agree, much easier to read and I think it looks good too.I see in my Midsouth catalog they sell a gold inlay kit for ten bucks. I'm probably going to get one and see how difficult it is to do. I was even thinking about doing the sides of my older frame where the cat hangs out.

I got one in a trade that the fellow had done with the gold and it looka great on the frame.

Man I don't know where Dave finds all of that beautiful wood or what he does to make it so beautiful but everything he does is a work of art.

Hunt that Pistol is too pretty to hunt with for this ole country boy. That is truly beautiful.
