Barrel switcheroo success!
« on: March 14, 2011, 02:05:28 PM »
I happened to have my .223 torn down today to trade stocks and thought I'd try the barrel on my "stainless" Hornet frame to see how hard it would be to fit.  Locked up like a little bank vault, I was shocked.  I turned around and put the stainless barrel on the blue frame and the same result  ;D So, I'm hoping if I get another barrel fitted it'll work on  both frames?  That would be a bonus-bonus or maybe a bonus-bonus-bonus.

I swap barrels, stocks and frames all the time until I get the gun just how I want it then I leave it alone. ;)

I do the same thing.  I keep 3 or 4 spare SB2 frames around and pop barrels on them til I find the one that fits best.  I've had very few problems.  I like the BC Carbine stock set on the pistol calibers.
