please contact me or post here so I can review your posts.  Want to know about what barrel band you used.  I really like the looks of it and I have a 24" BBL I'd like to set up this style.  Yes I'm copying yours, sorta... It really looks unique and I like it alot.  I found the post at work and can't find it here at home.

Thats an original mauser barrel band I bought on gunbroker. fit pretty decent with some dremel work. its on a 26inch  280

Im doing a couple more another right now in 22-250 and 12 gauge.  I dont think the mauser band will work on the 12g. i may make one for that out of a silver spoon.

rdlange,I have some some Mauser bands if you need one just send me 5.00 bucks to cover postage .If you want one just give me your address and I will get one out to you ASAP.

oldsoldja - the plan is to do it to a 20ga slug barrel so the band may be too small as you noted about your 12ga.  Have some brass so I could try bending it into a band.

Whenever I finally get a decent camera I'll be posting some pictures of all I'm working on.
