monticarlo stock / vent rib fit ? did I screw up?
« on: March 19, 2011, 03:57:50 AM »
Hey all I sent my camo stocked dicks sporting goods 308 in for a 20 gauge vent rib screw in choke barrel. I was sitting here and recall something about not being able to see the bead on my 10 gauge turkey barrel because of the monti stock but it did not matter because I was drilling it for a scope. I hope I can use the 20 gaugevent rib barrel without mods. Anyone know for sure?? THANKS!!

As Tim said, it works for some, for others it may not. You won't really know until you try it. It depends on the drop and comb height of the particular stock, the length of your neck, how high your eyes are located in relation to the height (length) of your face and other considerations as well. Do you crawl up the stock or do you keep an upright head positon, these in other aspects come into it. Try it when you get it back and let us know...good luck....<><....:)
