TEXAS, by, GOD would be the Colt, s/a.
Blessings

Paterson Colt carried by Texas Rangers with great success that earned the gun the name Texas Paterson.
The Walker Colt was design by Captain S.H. Walker a Texas Ranger. Walker used the Paterson and the Walker Colt was his idea of improvements to the Paterson.
I think that alone should make either one of these old war horses a fine representative firearm for the state of Texas by God  ;)

As for my state of Oklahoma we should go with the Bean Flip, they're very handy and you never run out of ammo ;D

In New York possibly a Remington because of the company's long history here.  Most likely the staple gun because it won't offend anyone, isn't deadly, and even the governor, mayor Bloomberg and other anti-gunners have them.

California should be the Bryco Jennings 9mm because everyone here thinks they are a gangsta.

Republik of Kalifornia would prefer that all firearms be demilled: torched, smashed, and crushed.
