30-30 & 20ga stainless combo ?

Hi, today at the local sporting goods store I checked out a used but brand new looking h&r (or nef) 30-30win 20ga combo in a kind of a  mate stainless finish with a traight stock and 22" barrels. Do anyone have info on these? Icould not find anything on the web... Is the finish any good ? If not, could I strip it down? As said before its in used but new looking condition,and they are asking 250$ ,is that a good deal ? I personaly think so but any info would be great! Thanks

Good deal in my opinion. If made after 1986 an even better deal. Check the FAQ's thread near the top of page for serial number dating chart of H&R's and the newer HR1871 made long guns.
