Anybody have any experience with this youth gun? This would be for my 9 year old daughter. I never have owned a Savage so this would be my first. Thanks

They have pretty good reviews. I looked at one for my 12 year old Son but it was a little smallish for him. It may have been my choice had he been younger as it appears to be fairly high quality. Better than the Cricket for sure.
I ended up getting a CZ 452 Scout because it was a little larger (we can bring one gun out for the day and both shoot it no problem) higher quality and has the option of using the same mags as my other CZs. It comes with a single shot adapter.
I may have to get another one. I like it so much that the boy may never get to shoot it much.

Yes I have never been a Cricket fan they seem pretty cheaply built and low quality. I bought my son a Henry Mini Bolt when he was about 6. It has been great and accurate too. I don't mind shooting it also. But my daughter is showing a lot of interest and doesn't want brothers hand me down rifle.

I got a Cub for my nephew and he loves it. It's very accurate and easy to use, bolt is smooth and the safety is easy to operate. I have been very happy with it, he has around 1000 rounds threw it with no problems.
