B. Hussein Obama singlehandly orders war against Libya.....
Now, we know from the lefties on this site, that a foreign nation must have WMD and be preparing to strike the United States before we should even consider attacking them..
So Barry; just where are the colonel's WMD stored...and what nature of WMD does Khadaffi have, nukes, biological, chemical ?

Before launching on Iraq, pres Bush asked for and received from congress, permission to do so...still lefties claimed he did not get specific permission for such an attack !
So, Obama commits the US to a war with Libya without any kind of congressional permission.. How do you lefties feel about that ?
How's that for "hope & change" ?

I think that Libya can take care of their own internal issues, and that we should not give a crap. Add to that, the rebels are Al Qaeda. We just switched sides from Libya to Al Qaeda. Our servicemen just fired 100 Tomahawks in support of Al Qaeda. Why did they do that. Personally, I would not have, rather go to jail for the rest of my life.

That said, we started, it is too late to stop. We went after Ghadafi and missed. Got his son though. If we don't finish, we can expect airplanes dropping out of the sky soon enough.

That is the concern of many, because ity appears we may be expending ourselves only to put the Muslim Brotherhood in power. The Muslim Brotherhood is a terrorist organization and it appears that they are working hand-in-hand with the Iranian maniac.
Surely if folks can see and complain about what Bush did in Iraq, they would have to be experientially blind not to see the great mistake this is...I think Hillary got snookered in France, and brought BHO along for the ride.
BHO says we will 'hand it over' to the French & Brits in a couple weeks. I suspect they will say, "thanks, but no thanks" ! Then what ?

I cannot understand why outfits like the AFL-CIO have backed the Muslim Brotherhood in these revolutionary efforts. It was the Muslim Brotherhood's terrorist actions which created one of their most opuitspoken (and listened to) critics, see video;

While I agree the US has been quite involved in wars for the last 50 years, I don't agree it has been the exclusive fault of the US each and every time. Having been the "leader of the free world" all those years, some things were expected of us and most things thrust upon us !
Think back:

Korea..working with UN , tried to help stem Comminist aggression

Vietnam..Stemming Communist aggression, plus honoring our solemn word...the SEATO pact.

Desert Storm.. Protecting the free-flow of oil, liberating a conquered nation (stopping an international bully)

Kosovo..probably the least justified conflict.

Haiti..protecting our sovereignty...even though many political hacks don't care about it now..

Panama..Stopping a major drug exporter and keeping the canal open.

Grenada..Stopping the spread of Communism into the western hemisphere (Monroe Doctrine) and rescuing our medical student living there.

It IS becoming more obvious every week that time, treasure and precious lives are being wasted in Afghanistan.
The politicians are so slow to learn..either let the military do what it does best, the way they want to do it; or don't ask them to do anything. These new rules-of-engagement are killing our troops at an unprescedented rate. A worthwhile leader would NEVER waste any American liuves in favor of enemy lives ! Left alone by the politicians, the Afghan engagement would have been over by now.
The Afghan govt should be told to allow our troops to really fight ..or we leave..

Of course, these conflicts over oil (most ME conflicts) may have been avoided, had the eco-freaks allowed our producers to drill for oil where it can be best retrieved. That way we could buy ME oil cheap..and if it went up in price, we could open our own taps..

I saw a dem on the news this morning giving the obamination heck. He said that he had violated our constitution in ordering the attack on Libya and that there was no threat. He said the obamination broke American law. The obamination is lying about protecting civilians too. POWDERMAN.

What DM munitions were used? I'm kinda wondering on this one. Most Depleted Uranium munitions are the penetrator rounds from the M1 tank and from the gun on an A10. Missiles are generally high explosives and shaped charges? BTW the M1 rounds work really well, I saw where one had penetrated about a 10 foot earth berm and then not one but two T80s. Man that was beautiful site turned those haajis into paste.

The use of DU while controversial is effective but it isn't used in cruise missiles.

Just thinking out loud ... what is one way to justify lifting the debt ceiling, triggering inflation, and propping up an artificial stimulus, that used to make Americans feel good about it? War? Gonna have to fill a couple orders to replace the downed aircraft and expended missiles.

Dont pay attention to actual 25% unemployment, the farce of cuts, expanding debt, rising gas, food prices. The fact that our congriminals can't pass a budget, but are honestly going to take 10 days off after wrestling through a CRA extension through September. Just note the somber sincerity of the CnC when he tells us this is part of our moral imperative, desperate times and whatnot.

Everyday now I have a troop that wants to get out, and the reasons are making more and more sense. No cowards, just tired honest hard working Americans who have lost faith in their government ... but have some hope still in their country.
