I got up this morning to go check what few traps I had set. I made a post a few days ago about a snow set I made. Well it snowed some last night and when I orunded the corner to where the set came into view. I saw something laying beside the log. My heart started racing. I stopped and looked through my .22 scope and I could tell it was a canine. When I got within about 70 yards I whistled and it stood up. A BIG MUDDY COYOTE!

She was firmly caught in the #2 duke coilspring. I couldn't believe my eyes. I had finally put a bracelet on a coyote. I have worked hard to do this all year. I have caught quite a few coyotes in snares this season and last but never in a foothold till now. Now I'm ready to do it again.
Thanks to all of you for your help,
Zach Ellis
