Dixie Gun Works got some more in stock.

I grabbed 6 pounds of it a couple months ago.

Doesn't anyone here eat lamb? One good roast of lamb gets me four to six ounces of tallow.  Just reheat the drippings in a double boiler and strain it through cheesecloth a coupla times. Walla! Mutton tallow!

Even broiled lamb chops give one or two ounces.

Sheesh!

I LOVE LAMB!!  I roast a leg of lamb every Easter!  Hi-ebber, and day always be a hi-ebber,  :D  I use the drippins for gravy.  Not much left over for lubin patches...  :-\

I thought of asking the butcher if he had any fat trimmings, but most of the lamb you see nowadays is imported packaged stuff...   :(   But now that I think on it, there's an old timey butcher shop hereabouts.  Maybe they have some!  Thanks for getting me thinking, I'll check with them!   ;D

Wait!   :-\   I got plenty of lamb tallow on hand!   ???   nevermind...
