"The Donald"...sounding better..
« on: March 24, 2011, 03:21:23 PM »
   Trump is sounding better.....
           He's in favor of the second amendment..and NOT in favor of ... abortion or 'gay' marriage.
      And we can rest assured he knows the importance of "balancing the books".  You can read it here;

                                                 So far...so good !

HEH. Saw him on tv the other day when he was asked about the obamination being an American. He said, who is he?? Where did he come from?? Nobody seems to remember growing up with him, no school chums, at least American. He didn't believe the obamination was legal either. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

I hope we can do better than Trump.  I think he is more of a publicity hound than a conservative.  Anyone who contributes big bucks to libs is off my list.

The more I read and hear about him, the better I like him. I think he's got the character and attitude, to call a spade a spade. We need a business man's experience to straighten out the big mess this country is in. Not a lawyers training of ''gimmee the money honey''.
I know several here that look at Trumps failure's and bankruptcy's. Says he runs business's into the ground. Edison had thousands of failure's, and a few success's. Trumps success's far outweigh the failure's. Hope he puts his hat into the ring. gypsyman

  If he can repair this economy that has been run to the GROUND by both major parties over the last 20 years, and then, fill the big hole Obama has dug for us BENEATH GROUND LEVEL during the last 2 years..; he's worth at least a 4 year shot !
      I have also heard him say he wants America RESPECTED again, starting out with our president not going around the world..bowing and apologizing to dictators !

He's a billionaire rich boy and as such is part of the same group who are running the show now. How can putting one of those calling the shots and telling our current politicians what to do in office help the situation?

He might convince enough folks otherwise to get there hell it worked for the obamination but he isn't what the country needs anymore than what we have now.

I can't believe that anyone would even consider him for the position. He would change every gov. building to Trump. The Trump House, The Trump Building, the Trump Memorial, the Trump Airport,  U.S. Trump 1, U S. Trumpery Department  and the Trump Memorial.

    If perchance he were to get the nomination..it would likely be a campaign between Trump and Obama..then we can decide.
  Although he may not be the best choice, Trumpery HAS to be better than any Obamanation... ;) :D

The Republicans have a good chance of winning the 2012 election. I hope they are smart enough to pick a competent candidate. So far they have not and in spite of all your complaining, they blew the last election. Let's see if the Republicans also throw this one away.

  I admit; they are very capable of doing that.  Three words describe the old "country club" branch of the Republican party...Ford, Dole, McCain...    That's why I'm Tea Party.,.. :D

I keep telling you guys; it ain't the Republican Party's fault that we had a weak candidate (McGore), it's the voters in the early primaries.  And it will probably happen again unless the primary system is changed.  You might say the same is true with the Dumycrats.

It's really all about money.  Who can make it through the early primaries and still have a few bucks to continue.  This is where Trump might be able to trump the system.

All primaries should be held on the same day.  Money would still be huge, but not quite as overwhelmingly so.

  Magooch;
  When it comes to money...are there any real Americans who are willing to outspend George Soros ?

Well, maybe no single American could, or would try to outspend Sorros, but if the right candidate were to emerge,  maybe the electorate would overpower the money.  The elections of 2010 showed that if people finally realize the hole we are in, they will vote the right folks in.

 My belief is that the money is much more important in the primaries than in the actual election.  The trick is to make it that far.  In 2012 no amount of money spent by Sorros, or anyone else is going to make any difference when it comes to introducing the Obamunist to the voters.

  EOD:
   Not as I recall it .  In fact, from what I recall he did reinstate her after he found that she was somewhat railroaded by certain figures in the Miss America management.   Later on, some erotic videos starring the girl, cropped up and were distributed by nefarious characters.  Rather difficult to keep her in situ after that..

  In any case it seems logical explanation, since Trump himself says openly that he is against "Gay Marriage" (whatever tht can be).
        Obviously, I don't back everything he does and I am sure there are other areas where we wouldn't agree.  I do like the idea that he wants the US to be respected in the world, rather than pitied.  ...And that he wants to get the US out of debt, and likely knows better how to do it than the "Big O" does..  And would refuse to be a "lap dog" to the UN.

  ...Plus his outspoken stance concerning the 2nd amendment should please all here..

  EOD; When we get down to it, do you know of any potential candidate for 2012 who is absolutely correct in every way ?

Truth of the matter is, NONE of the likely candidates are what I think this country needs.  Maybe it's because not one of them is representative of "my" America.  At this point, I'd vote for a computer with a copy of the Constitution in it's chips.  IMO, all or nearly all of our problems are caused by our "rulers" getting farther away from the principles our country was founded on.  If things keep moving in the direction of unrestrained socialism, there is only one ultimate solution.

Yessiree. I'll vote party lines when a Constitutionalist party is formed.

The "rulers" have a firm hold and will not loose or adjust  their grip until the "ultimate solution" is upon them.

Until we can get a candidate to the playoff...Opps! Runoff''s like a Ron Paul Constitutional minded individual, it will be business as usual, and I don't see it happening. People like a soap Opera type candidate. Like Palin, Trump, or a preacher from Arkansas. :o

  Where oh where will we find that perfect being to sponsor for president..one who can heal nations and the people in them, raise the dead, bring peace to all the earth and cure every ill of every people ?
  Until then I guess, we who believe in a pristine republic..should all stay home on election day and let the really corrupt factions elect their choice... ;) :D

   News flash !!!   That perfect person/candidate doesn't walk this old sod ! :P ;)

   The only perfect one, who could accomplish all those things walked this sod 2,000 years ago.  He will return; and when He does, He won't need governments or candidates or any of those trappings...because in a short time, He will set up his own government..whether everyone likes it or not. ><>

    ...Until then, we refuse to vote...and just endure under whatever crook the radicals elect for us !

I watched the Donald on  O'Reilly,
last night. It was plain to see he is no politician! When asked a question  about where he
stood on an issue, he answered, instead of launching into a series of talking points and never answering the question like all politicos do!
     I found that rather refreshing .

 BB & Buffermop;
   I realize Trump is far from perfect..as it is with most human beings, but I believe many folks are getting weary of the old hacks whose best act of statesmanship is...compromise.  Same goes for the newer party hacks who know no better than to repeat 'party lines'  and their "spin".

He is the only person on the Nat'l scene who is not PC. It is nice to see some one who is not afraid to say that China and India are robbing us blind.  What is wrong with asking Obama to clear  up his past etc.  Will he run I don't think so.  But it may open the door for some the others to get a back bone.  Woudn't it be nice to hear some leaders that are not afraid to speak the truth.

XD40SC;
    Funny you should ask...I think we have the epitome of such a spoiled, self-centered individual presently in the oval office .

Sidewinder;
  I believe you are spot-on..but it sure is beautiful to see someone on the national scene who is NOT a "politically correct" pussywillow !
  As you suggested and I tend to agree, he probably won't run since he is much too busy.  He may open the way for another common-sense candidate..

  BTW: Speaking of political correctness...   who has the right to decide just what is "correct" ?  Just because a few self-appointed puff-balls take it upon themselves to declare what is or is not PC..doesn't mean the rest of us (give or take a few sheeple), have to take their word for it !
