If I could!
Between.........Huckabee.........Romney...........Trump :-\

No way for Romney and Huckabee doesn' have the Stones IMO I cringe every time I see him on his show picking up that guitar.

How about Ron or Rand Paul? Would you vote for one of them over the three above?
They are true small government, constitutionalists and their records show it.

I really like some of Trump's thoughts but the more I hear to more he sounds like Ross Preot.
And one thing that will get Obama reelected is Trump running as an independent and splitting the Republican ticket.

30% of the voting population vote Democrat
30% of the voting population vote Republican

Regardless of the candidate

40% of the populating THINK and vote for the candidate they think will do a good job. It will very hard for an independent to win but they will pull enough votes for the looser to win.

Right you are.  After listening to Mark Levin's take on Trump, I agree that Trump is a spoiler.  There's still time for a someone to come forward.  We need someone clean, who can speak well without a dialect--right?  I kind of like Michele Bachmann, but I know fully well that she is a ready made easy target for the obamunist party.  She isn't the Lone Ranger in that regard; anyone worth consideration is going to be a target.

Trump, Pawlenty, Palin, Bachmann, Christie, Rubio, Ron or Rand Paul, Huckabee, Romney, Gingrich, Jindal, West, Cain, ..any of them and many more are much better than what we have now.  I would much rather not have some "establishment" re-tread, but what we don't need is another Perot/spolier.

I don't think the above two have the deep pockets required as Trump has.
Now Trump runing as a third candidate would ensure a second term for BO.

No need to worry about that.  He said he may go independent if he doesn't win the primary.

His problem will be whatever the lame stream press digs up or fabricates from his past.

Some one clean with out a dialect?? What kind of an elitist snob remark is that?  Why don't you say a Southerner??  I am not from the south and have never lived i.n the south.  For anyone to claim they can tell someones value by the way they talk is terrible.  Damn Geo.Washington was from Virginia he would not fit your profile for president.  You should apologize to the members of this forum

I am rather concerned with the "dialect" question.  Very few come without some type of dialect.  Up until a few years ago, there was a Prof at the U. of Buffalo in NY, who upon listening to an English speaker, could almost invariably within one or two sentences, tell that person where they were born and lived their very early years.
It sure looks like virtually all have one "dialect' or another.  I don't view a person with any dialect, automatically superior to any other person with another dialect.

Boy, I guess some of you don't watch, or listen to much of what's called news.  The statement about a clean, well spoken candidate without a dialect is a composite of what Joe Biden and Harry Reid said about Osama.  Obviously my little attempt at facetious humor went right over some heads.  Lighten up guys.

No, not really.  Doesn't anyone remember how Biden called Osama a clean guy and Dingy Harry said he doesn't speak with a black dialect?  I don't forget the stupid crap that Dumycrats come up with.

And sidewinder, call it dodging if you like, but there was nothing to dodge and I wouldn't if there was.

Something else to consider when talking Trump is his past campaign contributions.

Charlie Rangel (D-NY): 2006 – $10,000 Yes, he of corruption, tax evasion, and mass liberalism

Frank Lautenberg (D-NJ) $12,000 Total, $2,000 in 2006 Re-election

Harry Reid: Donated $4,800 in 2010 to Reid to defeat Sharon Angle. $10,400 to Reid overall

Chuck Schumer: Donated $4,000 during 2010 Election Cycle

Kirsten Gillibrand: $5,800 over past 2 cycles

Ted Kennedy: $7,000

John Kerry $5,500 ($2,000 in 2004 Pres race, which he also gave Bush $2,000.

Democratic Senatorial Committee: $116,000 (versus $30K to GOP equivalent)

Be interesting to see who he supported in the NY gov race recently. Cuomo, the Dem with huge family connections won in a landslide. The GOP runner was a very rich, very conservative Tea Party guy, Carl Paladino, who was within single digit points early on. My favorite candidate was the decorated vet who did not pay rent.

I just saw a news poll on TV that said Trump is in front of the other popular contenders.
I sure hope people will do their homework before they vote for that guy!
I like alot of what he is saying today. But after seeing his contribution record, who knows what he will say tommorow. I also don't like the idea he has about staying in Iraq, (occupying?), and keeping their oil. It would be fantastic to get paid back for a war for a change though.

Trump donated $200 to Cuomo that Cuomo returned.

Consider that you typical NYS upstate conservative would have carefully stepped over Cuomo if he was laying bleeding in the gutter. At least pre-election. Everyone seems to love him now.

It's basically irrelevant.  They're turning him into a Palin-esque laughing stock.

IMO, by the time 11/2012 rolls around, Obama may not even win his primary, because he's losing the interest of women.  Hillary's been biding her time, and she'll spring.

Women's votes are what win elections, folks-and Hillary will have the women and minorities.

On the other hand, she'll get beat in a close call...

(Don't bet a bunch of cash on these predictions, incidentally...) ;)

Yeah and if a Republican had been elected and had done the exact same things that Cuomo is doing, the Republican would be called Hitler and demonized by media until hell wouldn't have him/her.

Our Dumycrat Governor has denied teachers raises and made some cuts that would get a Republican run out of the state.  She gets a pass and the Republicans who agree with what she has done are blamed by the leaches and vermin--otherwise known as liberals.
