Something Loud Smelling. I like alot of skunk essence in a cold weather lure and a tainted meat bait.
Trapping ain't a sport; It's a way of life

Fishy, there may be some regional differences in the types of lures that will work for you.  From where do you hail?

As Wacky mentioned in some area canines might shy of some lures or might not even be interested.... You will have to experiment   with diff lures and keep a record..... I have three diff types that i use at diff times of the season or remakes ect..  Some areas  canines  shy away fm strong skunk untill it mellows out and then work set if  scent is right at trap  set.   Let the animal show you what he wants so be observant and ask us questions and we will try to steer you in right direction.... good luck

A good bait and a good urine will work good at dirt holes and a good gland lure along with urine will work well at post sets.....B.....
