Traps can be painted. At times I have used a flat black spray paint .
Dipping is still my favorite way to go,but in a pinch I have painted a few.   Tom

I don't dip , dye or paint . I do however wax and only after my traps have been cleaned well. I rewax several times during season as my K-9 traps become contaminated after catches, I been doing this for quite a while now and have good results with this method.....B.....
