444 custom barrel what dia????

thinking of another 444 marlin.....have a 22 in barrel that is 1 3/16 the whole length........made a 357 max and never turned it....weighed about 110 pounds..ok maybe less..just felt that heavy////l.o.l.////what dia, would you make yours if you had the chance????jb......i will be shooting lead and 300 gr, jacked bullets

I'm working on a 444Marlin that's octagonal,  about .750" across the flats....if that helps.

can you post a pic of your 1 & 3/16" 444M?   I just bought a 20" 1" dia. .452 blank and I think it weighs more than my 444 H&R does, your 444 must be like packin' a 50 BMG around the woods. ;D

ill be 50 this dec.....its all i can do to pick it up sometimes........sitting most or out of a boat....i still may be able to use as a anchor if needed...lol.....to heavy to use as a paddle......jb
