Try some type of gland lure.

Good Luck,

I'd agree with OLD 17 (hehehe) on the gland lure.  I have been using some of Asa's Nature Call all the stuff around lure and the dang fox keep getting in the sets :(   I would not hesitate to recomend this lure and ole Boggy sells it cause that's where I got mine.

In cold nasty weather, mating season or not a food base and or mixed curiosity lure still work fine.  Call lures are a good thing in this weather also.

PS just saw you are in Ohio,  you might get some of Stephs Cachatorie lure from T-man.  Its a VERY strong lure for them cold OHIO nights.

I agree also a good gland lure will work wonders during mating season, also urine post sets with urine and some with urine and gland lure.
