Annother things that gripes me is that the Volt is designed to be attractive to the weathy for use as a "look at me car", or a car to be used for cetain occasions only. Why in the heck should the general population, through taxes, pay for the rebate for the select few who buy them
?
Also, it is now trendy in "green" cities like San Franciso, Berkley, Seattle, Portland, etc. to install re-charging stations for electric cars to juice-up, being done both by municipalites and businesses ( malls, up-scale department stores, etc ). If done by private outfits, so be it, but again, why should the taxpayers foot the bill for public re-charging....it would be no different that if they gave free gas out to the rest of us.....
