Obama Delivers Untelevised Speech On Gun ControlFoxNews 4-1-11
WASHINGTON—President Obama delivered a 10-minute-long untelevised speech on gun control Thursday, addressing the politically volatile topic from behind the closed doors of the Oval Office, where nobody could see or hear him. "The Second Amendment doesn't give people the right to kill other people with guns" said Obama,. "While I understand this is an important issue to many Americans, I also believe that in the aftermath of the tragedy in Arizona, certain kinds of guns are bad and should be considered a threat to the rights of peace loving Americans , and that we should seriously look at banning certain weapons. It's the right thing to do."
On the banned gun list to most likely take effect in October 2011:
Pistol style grips on all shot guns.
Pistol style grips on any rifle.
Semi automatic shot guns.
Semi automatic rifles.
Combat type pistols such as the model 1911, Beretta 92, Glock ect.
Federal waiting list for all ammunition.
