Which bipod ?
« on: April 02, 2011, 07:30:05 AM »
I'm in the process of acquiring a S+W m+p 15-22 and plan on attaching a bipod---I'm looking at some of the "lesser" priced models on the auction sites and some higher priced "brand" named ones....Which ones do you folks use and why ? are any of the "lesser" priced one recommended ? Your input in this matter will be appreciated.    Shane

There are several good brands of bipods to be had.

I have always used the Harris Bipod and find them to not be the most expensive and to be a good over all bipod.

You can find accessories for Harrris bipods too.

There is a Mini-14 and a Colt AR ,sitting beside me as we speak, each has a Harris Bipod mounted on it.

Another vote for the Harris.  I have several, and all work well.  I like the tilt / swivel feature.  I have broken several lesser models over the years.

X2 for the Harris bypods. I have tried the E-bay specials and they are not created equal. I have one branded by Winchester bought from Walmart and it is no way as good as a Harris.
