I think he's pretty much hit the nail on the head. Some of the staunch Republicans and Democrats on the forum will probably disagree with his total analysis.

he's absolutely right. i've always likened it to, lady liberty being raped and strangled and nobody will answer her cries for help. We have traded our freedom for security many years ago. I remember my grandparents saying "you can't fight city hall". That is when we as a people should have been in the streets tearing stuff apart. We have a fine military hands down. All of us have sworn to defend the Constitution, but what we have defended was construction of a tax slave society. America is not free, we are at best, apathetic. Heck, even the french have the guts to riot against their government.

The only thing he says that is incorrect is that he calls bush a conservative, otherwise he is spot-on, people elect the government they deserve.

He didn't have to name him. I don't hate bush but I've not been convinced that we have any business in iraq of afghanistan and i believe that this country would be in a much better situation had we not gotten into those wars. We would probably have a republican pres too instead of dumbo.
