44 mag barrel
« on: April 06, 2011, 11:41:49 AM »
I just talked to customer service at H&R and they told me that the 18.75 44 mag barrel was not available in the accessory barrel program. Any ideas!! Where can I look at stock replacements on the web sight or do they have them on there?

Call again, that happens all the time, they have been available, althought they may be out of them. There are some stocks on the accessory barrel web page, but the rest are in the FAQs on the retail parts page here, if you can point to a stock listed on the H&R website, we can tell you what the part number is, but be aware some stocks are shown on the website at all, like the checkered synthetic camo.

Cool thanks there web sight is kind of hard to navigate. Do you know if h&r will let there authorized service and repair house's do a barrel fit. I am about 2 hrs. from one in Tulsa thought they might be able to get one out faster than h&r. Will they even ship you a barrel?

It's confirmed, they do have the 44mag Talo barrels in stock today, so don't delay, get your frame into them to have it fitted right away.  ;)

There are some great people is Customer Support that can help a lot, but then there are a few that don't seem to have as much knowledge or don't try very hard, if you get the right person, you're good to go, that's why a second or third call may be a good idea.  ;)
