.35 Whelen Savage Custom
« on: April 08, 2011, 02:50:13 AM »
It is my understanding that the Savage Custom Shop will bulit just about anything a customer asks for (for a price). Chamberings will depend on if they have that particular reamer in the shop. Has anyone ever gotten a .35Whelen from Savage? What was the relative cost compared to a stock rifle in say .30-06 and might having it rebored be a more cost effective route?

thanks

You may want to check out www.savageshooters.com.

Pretty much a guarantee that someone will know the answer and can provide details.

I have a 35 whelen in a Addams & Bennet barrel.  I would not consider a rebore, too many options for new barrels out there.
