Tell me what I have - 7.62x39 ammo ID

I just bought 700 rounds of this new stuff, 7.62x39 fmj ammo, green cases, headstamped SADU 07.  does anyone know for sure what it is?  Is it corrosive?  I got it in a bucket loose, and don't wqnt to shoot it until i ID it.  thanks,  Wallacem inGa

Its manufactured by the romanians for the US market under the hotshot brand.  If you search for;  "7.62x39 ammo SADU 07" all the info will come up.

I can verify that.  Mine was still in paper "HotShot" boxes inside the sealed spam can.  I gave $148 for 750 rds right at two years ago.  Sadly, I only bought one can.  There were five available at the time and hindsight tells me I should have bought all of them.  They shoot good from my Chinese SKS.  Like a dummy I threw all of the boxes away, but if memory serves me they are non-corrosive.

Thanks guys, I did find some pictures of the boxes, and it did say noncorrosive. i paid $85 for the 700 rounds so i am happy.  Wallacem

85 dollars for 700 rounds, Where did you get them?  Who did you get them from?  That's a very sweet deal for 700 rounds considering that most ammo in bulk package costs about 25 cents per shot.
