My Mazda RX-8, and the Mitsubishi Eclipse came with premium tires.  A Japanese brand.  Mazda is on it's second set at 30,000 miles.  Not the tires fault, we went stateside for two weeks and left a teenager home alone, with the keys.  He bought a new set when we returned.

I bought a new Ford F-150 a few years back.  It had Goodyear Wranglers on it.  First week a flat on right front, stone through the tread.  Dealer replaced the tire.  Second week another stone through the tread on the right rear.  Again dealer replaced the tire.  Fourth week the new right front again.  Another new tire.  Fifth week Left front this time.  Dealer replaced them all with a set of BF Goodrich tires.  They were still on that truck when I sold it at 50,000 miles.  Currently both trucks and the SUV have BF Goodrich tires.

Hay, I had two of those.  The stock one would do 70 down hill with a tail wind.  The one with a lift kit and bigger wheels, yea my son kept calling me on the cell when we left town togeather calling me speed racer, saying I was doing 75.

OOPs, can't find a picture of the Black One before I did the 5 1/2" lift on it.  The brown one has 7 1/2" lift with lockers front and rear.

I went on a trip out west last summer and got to legally drive 80 in a part of Utah. I wish it was 80 on all rural interstates. 85 would probably be overdoing it in my 4 wheel drive truck though.
