Finally. An 1894cs 357 mag
« on: April 14, 2011, 03:47:01 PM »
Been tryin to get this gun from my neighbor for about 4 years and he finally prices it to me. I'm a big 45/70 and 30/30 nut but this gun just has a cool factor about it. Took it out the other day and shot it and it was a hoot. Gonna take a lot of greenbacks to pry this one from my hands. Made in 1984 this gun has had less than a box of shells thru it and the blue is like new. A couple of minor varnish scratches that hardly noticeable. Paid 550 for the gun and 50 for 186 rounds if ammo. Here are
 a few pics.

Congratulations on your purchase, I too have an 1894 in .357 and it's incredibly fun to shoot. The only advice I can offer is start reloading, 'cause thye can really gobble up the ammo. ;D
