We don't have the ethanol crap out here, but they do in Lou. When we visit in ILL thats all you can buy so we just buy enough to get home. I had an old john deere tractor that didn't like the ethanol at all, fouled the plugs terribly. The local stations quit it a long time ago. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D

You mean like the old days when you could leave gas in your chain saws, etc. and you got better gas mileage?  Why would we want to do that?  Think about the poor corn farmers and the distilleries and all those subsidies.  No, no I'd rather have the alky content boosted up to 15%, so the mileage would go down even further and our fuel systems can degrade even quicker.

Consumers here avoided buying ethanol gas and now none of the station handle anything but 100% gasoline.
It's not just common sense it is a free consumer driven market and it's beautiful.

Worst thing for 2 cycles. I add Stabil to all my engines. I have a fuel line gas/water separator on my boat. Citco was only one carrying nonalcoholic gas. Now I can't find a station that carries pure gas- non ethanol. All because of corn substitutes.

Glad we don't have that problem.  No ethonol in our gas.  The refinery here in North Pole pulls the oil straight from the pipeline.  Refines our gasoline then sends it out to the stations.  It would cost a fortune to ship ethanol to Alaska and put it in our gasoline, so it is not done.  Except for the Seattle suburbs (Southeastern Alaska) all the gas and diesel used in Alaska is refined in either North Pole or Nakiski.

A 'Veteran' -- whether active duty, discharged, retired, or reserve -- is someone who, at one point in his life, wrote a blank check made payable to 'The United States of America,' for an amount of 'up to, and including his life.' That is honor, and there are way too many people in this country today who no longer understand that fact.

We have a station selling gas for special purpose engines and antique autos.  ::) I use it in all small engines, I add the Stabil the day I purchase it and never wonder if the mower has been winterized, or if the ice auger has been summerized.
