Thunder over Louisville.
« on: April 16, 2011, 05:17:17 PM »
An annual event leading up to the KY derby. Air shows all day then fireworks at night.
I'd love to see the air show but not bad enough to go to lou. Just finished the fireworks and they were great but it gripes my butt that they seem to think they need music to go with it. I want to hear booms, snap, crackle, pop, not loud music. Is it just me or is it annoying to others too?? Hmmmmmmpppphhh, who can figure city folks?? I bet NOBODY will catch a fish in that stretch of river for a month. POWDERMAN.  ;D ;D
Mr. Charles Glenn “Charlie” Nelson, age 73, of Payneville, KY passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021 at his residence. RIP Charlie, we'll will all miss you. GB

Powderman, fireworks and music doesn't click with me neither.
Big airshow in Fort Smith, AR one year.   My son's boss was a sponsor, and he had to work the concession stand.  He sold twice baked potatos at $5 bucks a hit faster than you could shake a stick. 8)
